Attorney Lorelei M. Hayward concentrates in all aspects of divorce and family law, child welfare cases. Her divorce and family law practice includes representing parties with issues concerning child custody, child support, alimony or spousal support, the valuation and division of assets and debt, visitation schedules or parenting plans, paternity cases, complaints to modify or enforce court orders, prenuptial agreements, guardianships, and adoptions.

She a certified Massachusetts Guardian Ad Litem (GAL) who is appointed by the Probate and Family Court in the counties of Middlesex, Worcester, Norfolk and Barnstable to investigate and report to the Court on matters concerning child custody disputes, parenting plans or visitation schedules, and other issues related to the best interests of the children.

Attorney Hayward’s child welfare practice includes the representation of clients that have an open case with the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families (DCF). She represents clients with matters pertaining to the placement of their children and the defense of allegations of parental neglect or abuse.

Her criminal defense practice focuses on the representation of individuals charged with serious felonies and misdemeanors such as operating under the influence of alcohol (OUI, DUI, DWI), domestic assault, and restraining order violations.
